Valtris Specialty Chemicals to Present Technical Papers at PVC 2024 Conference in April 2024
Valtris, a global leader in specialty chemical additives and precursors, announces the company will present two technical papers to showcase their ongoing development efforts at PVC 2024, the largest PVC conference in the world, taking place this April in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Dr. Amanda Freshwater, Manager of Application Development at Valtris, will present a paper titled “Formulating PVC Plastisols using Sustainable Plasticizers Derived from Plant-Based Fatty Acids”. Dr. Freshwater’s paper will cover Valtris’ bio-based plasticizer offerings, including their new fast-fusing plasticizer, Santicizer® Platinum G-3000.
Coilin Richards, Application Development Chemist at Valtris, is presenting a paper titled “Formulating Strategies for Combinations of Non-Halogenated Phosphate Esters and other Non-Regulated Flame Retardants”. Mr. Richard’s paper focuses on the flame and smoke properties of Valtris’ phosphate ester product line, along with strategies on how to formulate with those products in PVC applications.
