Valtris Specialty Chemicals Continues to Adapt its Product Portfolio to Ensure Customers Remain Ahead of the Market During Upcoming Changes to Regulation Requirements
Valtris Specialty Chemicals, a global leader in specialty chemical additives and precursors, continues to manage its operations toward sustainable solutions by adapting its product portfolio to ensure customers remain successful during upcoming changes to regulation requirements.
Valtris is a leading worldwide supplier of phosphate ester flame retardants (marketed under the Santicizer® trade name). Phosphate ester flame retardants frequently contain triphenyl phosphate (TPP) as a minor component. For some applications, phosphate esters with extremely low TPP content (< 0.1%) may be required.
To allow our customers to meet these anticipated needs, combined with our commitment to improving the sustainability and environmental profile of our products, Valtris is developing low TPP (<0.1%) phosphate ester products.
“Valtris is committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to our customers in a rapidly changing environment. This is another example of our organization’s leading role in combining the safe use of our product offerings with customer demand for high-performance,” commented Megan Kravec, Operational Marketing Manager at Valtris.
Ms. Kravec added, “We plan to introduce these new products to our customers in the coming months as part of our ongoing drive to become the supplier of choice. We greatly value our customers’ business and look forward to partnering with them at every possible opportunity.”
