Valtris Specialty Chemicals Announces New Vice President, Performance Additives, Operational Marketing

Dr. Robert Parker experienced product management and marketing leader from BASF, appointed

Independence, OH – August 29, 2023 – Valtris Specialty Chemicals, a leading global manufacturer of a comprehensive portfolio of specialty additives and precursors, announced today the appointment of Dr. Robert Parker as the company’s new Vice President, Performance Additives, Operational Marketing, effective September 1, 2023.

Mike Humby, Vice President of Global Performance Additives, shared, “I am very pleased that Robert will join Valtris as Vice President, Performance Additives, Operational Marketing. Robert’s specialized expertise and skillsets will be key in leading a team covering the Performance Additives portfolio to drive sustainable profitable growth. Dr. Parker most recently held the position of Director, New Business Development & Digital Officer, Care Chemicals at BASF. Prior to that he spent over 20 years with BASF holding positions of increasing responsibility and providing leadership in different markets within the BASF portfolio.
