Valtris Specialty Chemicals Announces New Chief Financial Officer
James Miranda, experienced c-suite leader, appointed
Independence, OH – October 27, 2023 – Valtris Specialty Chemicals, a leading global manufacturer of a comprehensive portfolio of specialty additives and precursors, announced today the appointment of James Miranda as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer, effective October 30, 2023.
“James is an accomplished transformational executive having diverse experience with companies in a private equity environment. He has an impressive background of success in highly competitive markets, leveraging finance’s role to collaborate with commercial and operations functions to drive value creation. James will make an outstanding addition to Valtris’ executive leadership team, and we are very excited that he has joined the organization. Mr. Miranda most recently was CEO of A.T. Cross Company, LLC, an American manufacturing company founded in 1846, based in Providence, Rhode Island. His career spans 25 years of progressive financial leadership roles in banking, logistics, packaging, consumer/commercial goods, manufacturing, and private equity. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force having retired with 22 years’ of service with the Illinois National Guard.
