Valtris Specialty Chemicals Announces New Chief Financial Officer
Jay Machado, experienced finance leader, joins the c-suite
Independence, OH – February 24, 2025 – Valtris Specialty Chemicals, a leading global manufacturer of a comprehensive portfolio of specialty additives and precursors, announced today the appointment of Jay Machado as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Jay assumes responsibility for the leadership of the global Finance team including FP&A, Tax & Treasury, Operations Finance, Accounting, and the IT function.
Jay earned his B.S. in Accountancy and Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio. Throughout his career he held positions of increasing responsibility beginning with Sherwin-Williams in Sr. Finance roles both NA and Global in scope; and later in Sr. Finance Executive/CFO roles at Airtex / ASC Performance Pumps, First Brands, and HGR Industrial Surplus.
