Valtris Specialty Chemicals announces Santicizer® Platinum P-1400 has received Standard Registration approval from the Japanese authorities

Independence, OH USA – Valtris Specialty Chemical is pleased to announce that Santicizer® Platinum P-1400 has received Standard Registration approval from the Japanese authorities (November 2021). With recent approvals in China (July 2020) and South Korea (2019), Santicizer® Platinum P-1400 has been approved for use in all major economies globally. “With this Japan registration approval of Santicizer® Platinum P-1400, Valtris is able to grow in yet another major market for these critical chemistries”, said Mike Humby, Vice President, Global Polymer Modifiers business.

Santicizer® Platinum P-1400 is a novel non-phthalate plasticizer designed for use in multiple polymer systems including PVC, latex, polyurethane, polysulfide and modified silanes. It can be used in many applications including foams, sealants, calendaring, plastisols, extrusion and films. Santicizer® Platinum P-1400 offers fast fusion and high efficiency, along with all the same performance characteristics of phthalate plasticizers. “We continue to innovate and test new products with our customers to help them formulate new sustainable solutions”, said Dr. Jay Xu, Vice President Global Technology & Innovation.
