CEREPLAS™ DTDA

Product information

Product Name
CEREPLAS™ DTDA
Description

CEREPLAS™ DTDA is produced by the controlled esterification of iso-tridecanol and adipic acid. This adipate ester can be used as plasticizer or as base ester in functional fluids. It is a clear, pale yellow and almost odorless liquid, miscible with inert organic solvents but immiscible with water.

CEREPLAS™ DTDA is an oxidatively stable and biodegradable ester, suitable for use as a functional fluid in a wide range of lubricant applications. Typically finds widespread use in biodegradable products, especially synthetic and sustainable hydraulic oils.

Certification: CEREPLAS™ DTDA is included in the Lubricant Substance Classification List (LuSC list) in the base fluids section of part 2 (Brands), and therefore end users of CEREPLAS™ DTDA can use the EEL classification directly on an EU Ecolabel application form.
