The CEREPLAS™ 100XS is produced by the controlled esterification of terephtalic acid and 2-ethylhexanol. This ester is for use as plasticizer or as base ester in functional fluids. It is a clear, virtually colorless and almost odorless liquid miscible with inert organic solvent but immiscible in water.
CEREPLAS™ 100XS is a general-purpose plasticizer for use in flexible PVC applications where enhanced low temperature flexibility is required and in plastisols for spread coating where certain low and stable viscosities are required.
