Simon joined Valtris in 2022 to lead the company through a growth transformation.  He has over three decades of global chemical industry experience and a proven track record of leading sustainable, profitable growth through market-driven innovation, strategic portfolio management and transformational culture change.

Having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Teesside University, UK, his career took on positions of increasing responsibility with ICI, BASF, Chemtura, and most recently as CEO of Loparex.

Simon has held various board positions in international industry associations including Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM), Fragrance Materials Association (FMA), International Fragrance Association (IFRA), Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA), and American Cleaning Institute (ACI).
