Description

Synpro® CALCIUM-ZINC STEARATE 1580 has been specially formulated as a unique alternative to calcium and zinc stearates for the fiberglass reinforced plastics industry.

Synpro® CALCIUM-ZINC STEARATE 1580 has a unique melt point range of 100 to 110 degrees Celsius, which is lower than either calcium stearate, with a melt of 155 degrees, or zinc stearate with a melt of 120 degrees. This can lead to improved surface characteristics in FRP parts and provide lower energy output.
