Synpro® CALCIUM-ZINC STEARATE 1550A is a high ash, free flowing granular (nondusting), multi-functional (external / internal) lubricant and acid scavenger for polyolefin extrusion and blown film applications.
Due to its hybrid formulation, it has a unique low melt point. Synpro® CALCIUM-ZINC STEARATE 1550A provides the lubricity and metallic surface interactions associated with relatively low melting zinc stearate and the high internal lubricity of calcium stearate. Together they optimize rheological flow properties desired for polyolefin blown films or extruded products. Increased extruder rates with the elimination of die lip buildup can be anticipated while providing homogeneous mixing of components.
