Description

Synpro® Calcium Stearate 500F Veg is a low ash granular product specifically designed for use in polyolefins and surface critical applications. It acts as an acid scavenger to neutralize residual catalyst and provides lubrication in production / downstream processing.

Preferred for polyolefins due to its high purity which increases polymer miscibility while minimizing gel formation and plate out / build up on the extruder screen-packs during processing. Additionally, Synpro® Calcium Stearate is used in rigid PVC siding, decking, profiles extrusions, and phenolics.
