Synpro® Calcium Stearate 500

Product information

Product Name
Synpro® Calcium Stearate 500
Description

Synpro® CALCIUM STEARATE 500 is a low ash powder product specifically designed for use in polyolefins and surface cricital applications. It acts as an acid scavenger to neutralize residual catalyst and provides lubrication in production / downstream processing.

Preferred for polyolefins due to its high purity which increases polymer miscibility while minimizing gel formation and plate out / build up on the extruder screen-packs during processing. Additionally used in rigid PVC siding, decking, profiles extrusions, and phenolics.
