Versatile High Efficiency Plasticizers
Santicizer® Plasticizers offer all the benefits of high solvating plasticizers including compatibility in multiple polymer systems including PVC, Polysulfide, Polyurethane and Silane Modified Polymers. Because of their high efficiency, less energy is required to fuse PVC formulations. These materials are well suited for plastisol applications, but can easily be used in almost any polymer system that requires additional flexibility and softness. Valtris also offers Santicizer® Platinum, non-phthalate options that have the same performance characteristics of premium phthalate products. These highly efficient plasticizers offer excellent compatibility in many polymer systems, high plasticizing efficiency and fast-fusing capability all in a non-phthalate product.

Santicizer® Phosphate Ester Flame Retardant Plasticizers
Santicizer® Phosphate Esters flame retardant plasticizers are non-halogenated and perform with the same plasticizing capabilities of the other Santicizer® plasticizers. Formulating these products into a polymer will retard flame propagation and suppress smoke generation.
Specialty Plasticizers Offering Fire Retardant and Smoke Suppressing Capabilities
When flame and smoke are primary concerns in a flexible polymer application, it’s often the additives that are contributing to the problem. These highly effective plasticizers are designed to maintain premium plasticizer performance while actively inhibiting flame and smoke in the occurrence of a fire.
Our phosphate ester-based materials are non-halogenated and perform with the same strong plasticizing capabilities of the other Santicizer® plasticizers, including high plasticizing efficiency, superior compatibility in multiple polymer systems, and faster fusion in PVC applications.
- FDA-approved grades
- Strong fire retardancy and smoke suppression
- Versatility and compatibility with many polymer systems
- Fast-fusing characteristics for easy process
- High-plasticizing efficiency
- Clear liquid
- Plastisols processing applications such as spread/knife coating, dip/slush/rotomolding, and roll coating
- PVC calendaring/injection molding/extrusion
- Mechanically- and chemically-foamed systems

CEREPLAS™ Specialty Esters
CEREPLAS™ specialty esters are used predominately to modify PVC resin systems for a wide variety of consumer and industrial products. These synthetic esters are also components of functional fluids such as, lubricants, hydraulic, and metal working fluids.
CEREPLAS™
Since the mid 2000s, the CEREPLAS™ range of esters have been developed and are now exclusively non ortho-phthalate specialty esters that are commonly used in the plastics and rubber industries. Part of the range is also used within hydraulic and metal working fluids.
CEREPLAS™ Adipates are used to bring enhanced low-temperature flexibility, low process viscosities, improve surface feel and texture, and reduce surface resistivity. Food contact applications are a principal use (e.g. CEREPLAS™ DOA™ is used in food cling wraps), but are also used in floorings. The higher molecular weight adipates such as CEREPLAS™ DTDA are widely used in biodegradable hydraulic oils. Our range of adipates include DOA, DIDA and DTDA.
CEREPLAS™ Trimellitates are high-quality specialty plasticizers with low volatility, resistance to high temperature, high tensile strength, good electrical properties, and processing ability. While extensively used in high-temperature PVC cable insulation, their fogging performance makes them a natural choice for the automotive industry. They are also used in medical applications such as tubing. Our range of trimellitates include OTM, L8TM and L810TM.
CEREPLAS™ Sebacates are specialty plasticizers serving niche markets such as underground cable sheathing in arctic environments and in automotive sealants. Our range of sebacates include DOS and DIDS.
CEREPLAS™ 100XS is a terephthalate ester. An excellent general-purpose plasticizer with heat stability, CEREPLAS™ 100XS is an alternative to the most common ortho-phthalate esters such as DOP and DINP.
