Lubex 200 is a liquid antistatic agent for flexible PVC compounds. Lubex 200 shows wide evidence of compliance at Food Eu regulation 10/2011.
The addition of 10% Lubex 200 to the plasticiser mixture strongly reduces the surface resistivity of the material. As Lubex 200 shows a secondary plasticiser effect, the total amount of plasticiser in the formulation must be reduced accordingly. Lubex 200 has a good compatibility with PVC, but shows a negative effect on the stabilisation and this must be taken into consideration especially when high dosages are used. In plastisols, Lubex 200 also displays a viscosity reduction action. Due to its low volatility, Lubex 200 maintains the plastisol viscosity stability during ageing.
