Lankroflex™ L

Product information

Product Name
Lankroflex™ L
Description

Lankroflex epoxy plasticisers are used to improve heat stability in the production of PVC articles by techniques such as extrusion, calendering, injection moulding, rotational moulding and spread coating. In PVC they can be used as a partial substitute for traditional phthalate plasticisers if customers require lower cost and higher renewable content.

They are also used in a variety of other plastic and rubber applications where an efficient low toxicity acid scavenger is required for stabilisation during processing and service life of the finished article.

Lankroflex Epoxy resins offer a high renewable content and are used in Epoxy, paint, coating and composite applications where the epoxy functionality can be used for partial or total substitution of traditional synthetic binders and resins. They can also be used as reactive intermediates for further synthesis to produce higher renewable content derivatives.

Lankroflex L is a low odour product with resistance to extraction by water, oils and solvents. It is the most effective costabiliser on the product range due to its high oxirane value. Lankroflex L will freeze at low temperatures but melts to form a clear liquid when reheated between 40°C and 60°C.
