The Interlite range of paste stabilisers offered by Valtris has been developed to be free of heavy metals such as Pb and Cd. Produced on dedicated plant these products are dispersions in epoxy plasticizers. Interlite pastes find use as stabilisers and process aids in the manufacture of flexible and rigid PVC where food contact and medical approvals are required. Production techniques such as calendaring, extrusion, injection moulding and dip moulding are possible using this stabilizer type.
Interlite ZX9011 is a non-toxic calcium zinc paste which has wide clearance for food contact and medical use. ZX9011 has good long term stability along with good colour hold and clarity. It is primarily used as a stabiliser in medical applications and as a lubricant for oganotin stabilised rigid PVC film.
