The Interlite range of paste stabilisers offered by Valtris has been developed to be free of heavy metals such as Pb and Cd. Produced on dedicated plant these products are dispersions in epoxy plasticizers. Interlite pastes find use as stabilisers and process aids in the manufacture of flexible and rigid PVC where food contact and medical approvals are required. Production techniques such as calendaring, extrusion, injection moulding and dip moulding are possible using this stabilizer type.
Interlite ZX9004 is a non-toxic calcium zinc paste which has wide clearance for use in food contact applications. ZX9004 imparts good long term stability and clarity accompanied by a moderate colour hold. Interlite ZX9004 is primarily used as a stabiliser in applications which are produced by extrusion, injection moulding, calendaring and dip moulding.
