CEREPLAS™ L8TM LE (Unstabilised)Description
CEREPLAS™ L8TM LE is produced by the controlled esterification of octanol (linear) with trimellitic anhydride. It is a pale yellow and almost odorless liquid, miscible with inert organic solvents but immiscible with water. It benefits a higher purity and a lower alcohol content compared to CEREPLAS™ L8TM.
CEREPLAS™ L8TM LE is designed for use in flexible PVC applications where low temperature flexibility is important. The low rates of migration of CEREPLAS™ L8TM LE from PVC ensures long service life and is strongly recommended for low “fogging” applications such as automotive internal trim.
CEREPLAS™ L8TM LE is also for use as base ester in lubricant formulations.
