CEREPLAS™ L810TM (Unstabilised)

Product information

Product Name
CEREPLAS™ L810TM (Unstabilised)
Description

CEREPLAS™ L810TM is produced by the controlled esterification of trimellitic anhydride and linear C8/10 alcohol. It is a clear, pale yellow and almost odourless liquid, miscible with inert organic solvents but immiscible with water.

The low volatility, resistance to high temperatures, excellent low temperature performance in conjunction with good electrical properties makes CEREPLAS™ L810TM especially useful for PVC cable applications. The low “fogging” values and permanence makes it ideally suited in formulating components for automotive internal trim.

As a base ester in functional fluids, it typically finds use in high temperature chain oils.

Certifications: CEREPLAS™ L810TM is included in the Lubricant Substance Classification List (LuSC list) in the base fluids section of part 2 (Brands), and therefore end users of CEREPLAS™ L810TM can use the EEL classification directly on an EU Ecolabel application form.
