CEREPLAS™ L810TM STI (Stabilised)

Product information

Product Name
CEREPLAS™ L810TM STI (Stabilised)
Description

CEREPLAS™ L810TM STI is produced by the controlled esterification of trimellitic anhydride and linear C8/10 alcohol. It is a clear, pale yellow and almost odourless liquid, miscible with inert organic solvents but immiscible with water.

The low volatility, resistance to high temperatures, excellent low temperature performance in conjunction with good electrical properties makes CEREPLAS™ L810TM STI especially useful for PVC cable applications. The low “fogging” values and permanence makes it ideally suited in formulating components for automotive internal trim. As a base ester in functional fluids, it typically finds use in high temperature chain oils.

CEREPLAS™ L810TM STI is a stabilized version of CEREPLAS™ L810TM. Stabilizer is added to prevent the oxidative degradation of rubber and plastics that causes a loss of strength and flexibility in these materials
