CEREPLAS™ DOA HPDescription
CEREPLAS™ DOA HP is produced by controlled esterification of 2-ethylhexanol with adipic acid. This adipate ester for use as plasticizer or base ester in functional fluids, is a clear, virtually colorless and almost odorless liquid, miscible with inert organic solvents but immiscible with water.
CEREPLAS™ DOA HP is designed for use in flexible PVC applications where enhanced low temperature flexibility of the PVC is required, and in plastisols for spread coating where certain low and stable viscosity properties are required.
CEREPLAS™ DOA HP is compatible with nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose acetate and butyrate and may be used advantageously with most synthetic rubbers. Its low electrical resistivity makes it suitable for applications where anti-static properties are required such as conveyor belting and industrial flooring. As a base ester in functional fluids CEREPLAS™ DOA HP is used primarily in automotive engine and gear oils.
Certifications: CEREPLAS™ DOA HP has general approval for use in many food-contact applications including film for packaging aqueous and fatty food.
