CEREPLAS™ DIDA

Product information

Product Name
CEREPLAS™ DIDA
Description

CEREPLAS™ DIDA is produced by the controlled esterification of adipic acid and isodecanol. It is a clear, virtually colorless and almost odorless liquid, miscible with inert organic solvents but immiscible with water.

CEREPLAS™ DIDA is designed for use in flexible PVC applications where enhanced low temperature flexibility of the PVC is required, and in plastisols for spread coating where certain low and stable viscosity properties are required. The low volatility and low temperature performance of CEREPLAS™ DIDA makes it ideally suited for protective clothing, tarpaulin and sheet applications.

As a base ester in functional fluids CEREPLAS™ DIDA is used in glass lubricants, grease and a seal swell in PAO based oil.

Certification: CEREPLAS™ DIDA is included in the Lubricant Substance Classification List (LuSC list) in the base fluids section of part 2 (Brands), and therefore end users of CEREPLAS™ DIDA can use the EEL classification directly on an EU Ecolabel application form.
