Santicizer® Platinum G-2000: A New Biobased General Purpose Plasticizer

Valtris Specialty Chemicals has successfully launched its newest addition to the Santicizer® plasticizer portfolio, Santicizer® Platinum G-2000, a biobased General Purpose Plasticizer.

Valtris Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 biobased plasticizer provides the PVC industry with a renewable non-phthalate plasticizer to differentiate their offerings. Santicizer® Platinum G-2000, which contains 85% renewable carbon, offers excellent heat stability, enhanced process ability, and lower volatility than traditional General-Purpose Plasticizers. In addition to PVC, Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 can also be used in rubbers, epoxy resins, paints and coatings, as well as many other polymers.

Formulations containing Santicizer® Platinum G-2000 can be processed by extrusion, calendaring, injection molding, rotational molding, as well as spread coating.
