Mike comes to Valtris after serving as CEO of Myers Industries Inc. (NYSE:MYE), a leading manufacturer of sustainable plastic and metal products and solutions based in Akron, Ohio. As CEO, Mike led successful commercial and operational improvements that delivered record financial results for the company.

Prior to his tenure at Myers, Mike served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of BMC Stock Holdings, where he was responsible for strategy, execution, and financial performance.

Mike also spent nearly 25 years in various senior leadership roles at The Dow Chemical Company (NYSE:DOW) where his roles included Vice President and General Manager, Dow Building Solutions; Global General Manager, Growth & Innovation Business Portfolio; Global Director, Strategic Marketing; and Global Director and leader of the Integration Management Office, an integration program related to the merger of Dow and DuPont.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Texas State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
