Robert joined Valtris in 2023 as Vice President of Operational Marketing within Performance Additives. In 2024 Robert was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer, assuming responsibility for all marketing functions globally covering both Functional and Performance Additives.  Valtris’ global marketing functions include Operational Marketing, Technical Marketing, New Business Development, Sustainability & Advocacy and Market Communications.

With over 20 years of experience in various leadership positions within the chemical manufacturing industry, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. Prior to joining Valtris, he held the position of Director, New Business Development & Digital Officer, Care Chemicals at BASF.

Robert holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Southampton, a M.A. in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, and an MBA from The Open University.
